First Steps
This section is for those at the beginning of their fertility journey, it may be your first intervention as you look for ways to boost your chances of getting pregnant. You may have been trying in your first year and it just hasn’t happened yet, this is the section for you, how can we help?
Initial Consultation
After a consultation we will look at how we can improve your natural fertility. The female menstrual cycle is very important and we will look at how we can regulate it so planning will be easier to do. Acupuncture is excellent for regulating the cycle.
Our consultation will also help us to diagnose any male factors that may be the cause, acupuncture helps with blockages as well as improving sperm numbers, motility and viscosity.
The consultation will also enable us to identify any other factors that may be affecting your chances. We will advise on lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise and rest as well as management of stress and anxiety.
Additional Support
We also advise on your next steps, what other help is out there. What are the tests and investigations you can ask for and when to ask for them. We offer the important hormone blood and tests needed for fertility or can advise where to get them and if available on the NHS.
With over a decade of experience we can share with you all the right options available that you can choose from outside of the acupuncture treatment. This can be important such as getting the right blood tests on the right days, what to ask for etc. You may wish to just see how you get on with acupuncture alone before venturing out to get tests done, thats absolutely fine. We will increase your chances through consultation, diagnosis and your tailor made treatment plan.
Unexplained
This section is for those who have undergone some investigations for their fertility but have been given an unexplained diagnosis. This can be a very frustrating place to be as it becomes difficult to know what to do to improve your chances.
The good news is that with acupuncture we use a system of healthcare that looks for different markers and signs than western medicine. This means that when we do a consultation we look for different things in your health. The monthly cycle is investigated thoroughly as well as all previous tests that have been done. We do a thorough health assessment of both partners and natural health will improve as well as your fertility.
This means that often we see signs that can be improved immediately that can be the breakthrough to getting pregnant. We can also advise on what other tests you can go for as well as lifestyle changes in diet, exercise and rest.

This section is for those who have been given a specific diagnosis that may be hindering your chances of having a baby. You will see on our Fertility page that acupuncture treats many of the conditions that can affect fertility.
Holistic Health and Fertility Assessment
We will do a detailed investigation at your consultation to look at your health holistically with a specific focus on your fertility and diagnosis. We will go through your tests that you’ve had and how that is interpreted through Chinese Medicine diagnosis. Then we will set up a treatment plan for you involving acupuncture, diet and lifestyle changes.

IVF
This section is for those who are about to or are already going for Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART) such as IVF, IUI, ICSI IMSI, FET.
